How do you make good Percussion, string and wind Instruments?

I have till this coming friday and i dont know how to start,

a plank of wood with rubber bands on it will only be as loud as the rubber bands themselves being plucked. you’d be better off to make a small “box” (it doesnt need to be box shaped though, but if you can use wood it will be strong and sound better) with a hole on one side, and putting the rubber bands over the open hole on the box. then when the bands vibrate, all the air in the box bounces around and makes it louder. if you make the bands stretch different lengths, they’ll come out as different notes.

you can use the same hollow “box” idea, but stretch a piece of material (an old t-shirt or something) over the hole and attach it to the box with staples or something, then hit it with your hand or a stick (not a pointy one) and you’ll have a makeshift Drum.

for a wind instrument, i’d recommend making one out of clay. we used to make whistles in art class out of clay. they’re usually called “ocarinas”.
