How does genius playlist work for ipod nano?

I recently got a ipod nano and I cant seem to get the genius playlist to work.

You need to make sure that you have updated your Nano. When you have it up in iTunes, click Check for updates.

Mine didnt work when I first got it too….

After that, all you need to is pick a song on your nano, play, press and hold centre button, Start Genius. You can choose to save that playlist as well, which is cool!
