how do i play this? acoustic Guitar notes?
okay, so im Learning Guitar. very beginner-ish. and uhm, im taking really good online tutorials from this pro site. because my friends dont play guitar, and we dont have time or money for anyone else to teach me. but it teaches me all the notes and everything and then it gives me a picture and is like okay now play this, well how do i play it? idk how to read it. im getting confused. can someone please explain how to play these notes?

i understand that part now. lol, i feel soo stupid asking all these questions.
but what are the numbers for on the tab?
other question, god im so stupid. but, i can read tabs, but not the notes, is this bad? its not like i plan on going pro or anything. its just something to do around the house. but is it necessary for me to be able to play notes? if tabs make complete sense to me now.
You can play the tabs. Which is the bottom row. They are all played on the 2nd to the top string and the number shows which fret its played on.
The numbers on the tab just show you’re working down the fretboard and then back again to where you started.
